Coverage for Expatriate employees
Expatriate employees need coverage in a great diversity of areas, from health insurance to disability benefits, via assistance for repatriation in case of accidents or illness. MAXIS offers the whole spectrum of Employee Benefit products to expatriates so that they can devote all their energy to fulfilling their mission in their adopted country.
MAXIS offers group insurance tailored to the needs of its international clients’ expatriate workforce, even if the company only has a limited number of employees abroad. For larger companies, MAXIS designs a package that provides them with tailor-made benefits. For smaller companies (with less than 20 expatriates), we offer a standard solution with features that are usually available only to larger companies.
In both tailor-made and standard packages MAXIS offers very competitive and fully comprehensive solutions, including:
• Social security with health insurance, disability coverage and death insurance for the employee and his or her family
• Complete assistance, with the possibility of medical staff travelling abroad or repatriation of employees when required.
To ensure immediate response at all times, MAXIS has a 24/7 service to provide information and take immediate action in case of emergencies.
Benefits are provided in line with employees’ needs according to their profile and the country of residence:
• Three levels of coverage are available, from the first euro of expense to complementary schemes in countries with public health coverage, with up to 100% coverage available for all countries
• Scalable disability and death insurance coverage
• Complete assistance is included in all our coverage schemes.
A complete offer...
Health insurance allows policyholders to be fully covered for all of their medical expenses or, if they benefit from a National public health scheme (either in their country of origin or in their country of residence), to be reimbursed for part or whole of the expenses not covered by these public schemes.
The table below is an example of options available for French nationals who are generally partially covered by their national public health insurance even when they work abroad. The percentages reflect the final amount of coverage, taking into account the variable reimbursement rate for different medical expenses of the French public health system.
